5 Advantages of the “Tribute Way”
Tribute’s approach to home care is different from other providers. The processes and practices we’ve developed deliver a much better experience for the Caregiver so they can provide the most loving care for our clients. This is the “Tribute Way,” and here are the five advantages it brings you.
1. The Best Place for Caregivers to Work and Thrive
Happy, celebrated, and well-supported Caregivers provide the best care possible. That’s why we go above and beyond to create the best working experience for our caregivers. We invest 2/3 of our revenues back into the well-being of our Caregivers, which is unparalleled in the home care industry and what sets Tribute apart.
Our Caregivers receive top-of-market pay, health benefits, a 401k retirement plan with company match, and paid time off. Many on the team are salaried, so they can focus on their clients without the distraction of worrying about their next paycheck. This work can sometimes be challenging, so we bring a culture of celebration that recognizes client successes, life milestones, birthdays, and anniversaries. Caregivers often refer to their Tribute team as family.
2. Personal Service from a Client Solutions Team
Our goal is to provide unsurpassed client service and family support, and we are committed to achieving that with every visit. Delivering quality care and outstanding service takes thought, dedication, and discipline. That happens best with a professional who is your single point of contact.
Every client has a Client Solutions Manager dedicated to your family and coordinates all communications with you, the Caregiver, and all others involved in care. They ensure everyone gets the updates and information they need when they need it. Client Solutions is supported by a 24/7 service team, so you always have a live person available for anything you need at any time.
3. Highly Skilled and Compassionate Caregivers
It takes a special person to work as a Caregiver at Tribute. We hire people with excellent caregiving skills and understand how a personal relationship with a client can transform someone’s life. Our hiring process is the most extensive in home care. The process includes multiple rounds of interviews (individual and team), skills assessments, reference checks, background checks, and health screenings.
We assess Caregivers on eight qualities that are core to our values and standards: warmth, compassion, patience, trustworthiness, commitment, care skills, flexibility, and problem-solving ability. Only 3% of applicants are hired, ensuring we maintain a highly qualified and engaged team.
4. Professionalism, Preparation and Development
Tribute is the only home care company with a dedicated Caregiver Excellence team to provide individual attention for each Caregiver. Caregiver Excellence Managers make professionalism a priority. Caregivers are always neat and professional. They wear Tribute uniforms with their name embroidered on their shirts, making them easily identifiable for clients, families, and other care professionals.
Caregivers participate in continuous assessments and development programs with their managers to keep skills sharp for all client needs. Our unique RISE program immerses Caregivers in the “Tribute Way” and reviews over 45 attributes of care and service. This provides them with frequent feedback, a framework for continual skill development, and a clear pathway for growth. Caregiver Excellence Managers celebrate Caregiver successes and help them work on development goals so they are always prepared to provide exceptional care.
5. Personalized Care Plans with Easy Access to Updates
Your Client Solutions team will create a detailed care plan for every client’s needs and personal preferences. They’ll assess physical, mental, and emotional health to determine specific needs in each area. The plan will review the range of services to be provided, the goals for care, and all the instructions needed for the care team.
We prepare Caregivers on all aspects of the plan so they are ready to go from their first visit. The team reviews the plan regularly to monitor progress and make updates for the changing needs of your loved one. Communication with the family and other care providers is built into the plan. Tribute has a mobile app that families can access to view visit notes, Caregiver schedules, log and log out times, and even chat live with the Client Solutions team during work hours. Live phone support is always available 24/7. Our goal is to provide a seamless and transparent experience for all those involved in the care process.
