Logistics and Communications FAQs
How quickly can services begin?
Tribute can begin care within days of your first call, depending on the level of care needed. For time sensitive situations, we can often start within hours of your call. Our team moves quickly but thoughtfully to ensure the right Caregiver is matched.
How will communication happen between the agency, caregiver, parent, and family?
Communication is a Tribute strength. You’ll have a dedicated Client Solutions Manager, regular updates, and access to our client app with visit notes and schedules. We’ll align on how you prefer to receive updates—calls, texts, or email.
How can I get updates on the mobile app?
Tribute Home Care has a mobile phone app. Your Client Solutions Manager will set you up with a log-in. Instructions for setting up the app are included in this packet. This way you will be able to see updates from the Caregiver at the end of each visit. You can also contact the Client Solutions Manager or Client Solutions Coordinator when you have questions.
Is there an after-hours contact for emergencies?
Yes. Tribute staffs a live, on-call team 24/7. If something comes up outside business hours—like a last-minute change, a health concern, or a weather issue—you’ll speak with a real person who can help immediately.
How are care plans developed and updated?
Tribute develops each plan through conversations with you, your loved one, and any relevant professionals. Plans are updated regularly as needs evolve, ensuring care always matches your parent’s current situation and preferences.
What procedures are in place for emergencies?
Tribute prepares Caregivers for a variety of scenarios, including sudden changes in health. We follow documented emergency protocols, stay in contact with families, and can coordinate with EMTs or care professionals if needed.
What if my parent is resistant to having a caregiver?
It’s normal, and we’re prepared for it. Tribute’s Caregivers are trained to earn trust gently. By building rapport and understanding preferences, we help clients feel more comfortable over time. Many families tell us their loved one ended up enjoying the visits far more than expected.
